Sterling recognised as environmental partner in Environmental Stewardship Initiative

Sterling Pharma Solutions has been recognised as an Environmental Partner in the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Environmental Stewardship Initiative (ESI) for making voluntary commitments to support environmental sustainability. 

The ESI encourages organisations committed to protecting the environment to find ways to become more effective stewards of natural resource.

At Sterling’s Cary, North Carolina facility, its team of dedicated volunteers are involved with a variety of activities to support its local environment. To name a few, the team has been involved in the Cary Tree Archive and community clean ups; adopted a spot, taken part in a 5k charity run and a walk for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.  The site also purchases all electricity from 100% renewable sources through Duke Energy. This demonstrates Sterling’s overall commitment to being a caring and considerate neighbour, as well as a force for good within the communities it is part of.

As an environmental partner, Sterling will continue to work to improve its local environment and conserve natural resources, not only in North Carolina, but within the communities it is a part of across the globe; sharing its accomplishments over the years to come.
