Chief Operating Officer
Andrew began his career in the pharmaceutical industry more than 15 years’ ago as an organic chemist. Following completion of his PhD at Newcastle University, Andrew joined Onyx Scientific as a development chemist before moving into a business development role. Andrew then joined Aesica Pharmaceuticals where he held various positions in business development, project management and corporate development.
Andrew joined Sterling (then Shasun) in 2015, and went on to become Chief Commercial Officer taking responsibility for commercial performance and the commercial team, including partnership management, business development and marketing, before becoming Chief Integration Officer in 2022.
In 2024, Andrew became Chief Operating Officer, and is now responsible for establishing and leading our operational strategy across our global network of sites.
